Farewell, My Friend

I've missed you the last several days. Since I'm afraid that this may be the end, I will continue to miss you.

You've been with me every morning, and every afternoon since college.

I haven't seen or smelled you since last Saturday.

My head has been hurting. My vision is slightly blurred. I'm constantly sleepy.

But, I will make it.

I must. For my kidney's sake. They just can't take it any longer.

I'm not giving you up completely. I would/could never do that. But I'm saving you for special occasions. Shopping, play dates, and occasionally when I visit my mom.

So long, coffee. You've been so good to me for so long.

Until you turned your back on me. And became my addiction.

Is the coffee actually causing the kidney infection??!? I'm so sorry you are having such a rough time. I really hope you feel better soon.

Oh man. I just got chills thinking about giving up coffee. I am sending you prayers. I remember having to give it up with both pregnancies and it was not fun. at. all.

Oh that stinks! I'm sorry you haven't been feeling well and that coffee is the problem. You're going to have to find a new addiction though! Any thoughts?

Well, you knew it was coming. I just am really going to hate it when we stop for Starbucks and you can't have any. AWWWWW. Just kidding. I really do hate it for you. (Good thing you don't have to give up that daily shot of tequila.) jk

This reminds me of my addiction to Mountain Dew in college. It was so hard to break my addiction, but I'm glad I did! Good luck with giving up the coffee. We support you every step of the way!

I learned this lesson a long time ago...that drinking cup after cup of yummy coffee was not a good thing for me. Now I only drink it on special occassions. Its hard, but after a couple of years, you get use to it!

Have you tried Chai Tea? That has worked for me as a replacement.

Good for you! I used to be addicted to Diet Pepsi, but I am now caffeine-free. It's great!

Oh NO! That is the biggest sucking parting of the ways that I have had to deal with this week! You poor darling!

Hi.
My name is Wendi and I was a soda-a-holic.
I have been soda free for 1 year, 3months and 15 days.
No caffeine.
Nada.
It was horrible at first.
Headaches.
Irritability.
Now I don't even want one.
You will survive.
