Yesterday morning, Maddie looked troubled.
"What's wrong, honey?" I asked.
"What would happen to me if both you and Daddy died?"
"Well, hopefully, that won't happen until you are all grown up."
"What if it happened today?"
"I guess you would go live with Gram and Pop."
Her eyes twinkled. She got the biggest smile you could imagine on her face.
"YEA!!!!"
Great. Now on top of everything else, I get to worry about my 4 year old offing me and Justin just so she can go live with my parents.

I don't get it... Miss K has been on this 'death' kick lately too. I expected it after my grandmother died a few months ago (we were all very close to her) then DHs uncle (whom she didn't even know). But now? Like every day? Are they talking about death on some children's show our kids both watch? It's creeping me out!
Haha - I'd be worried if she starts carrying around knives.
I just had this same conversation yesterday w/ my son who's 5. He told me they are going to go live with his grandparents. He sounded like he was actually interested in going there now! Nice. Thanks alot. He even told me what he was taking. Sheesh.
